Preliminary Task/ R+P

This is my final design for my magazine.

For this magazine I shrunk down all of the pictures that I took in my lesson and changed them all to black and white. For some of them I upped the contrast to make them brighter and more noticeable than others. The black and white background came from an effect that I put on one of the pictures.

One thing I think could be improved is the layout of the heading and the slogan, for example to be able to see the writing, it has to be three different colours. It would be better if you could have one colour and read the writing.

Learning how to use Adobe Photoshop

This is my final edit for my Holy Trinity magazine, there are still subtitles and other pictures to go on to brighten it up, but this is my final edit for my main picture.

I made this using the lasso to cut out the image of Lauren, then deleted the background and used the edit tool to change the effect and look of the picture. I used the feather tool and changed the px to 10 when I cut out the picture. This made the outside of the picture not look as sharp and blurred it into the white background.
